A heartfelt Message from Me to You

There are moments in life when you realize a chapter has come to its natural end. This is one of those moments for me.
After nearly nine years, I've made the bittersweet decision to close Jeannie Tribe Photography and say goodbye to the studio that has been home to so many beautiful memories.
If you've followed my journey over the years, you know it didn't begin in a grand studio. It began in a tiny 8×9 room inside the Old Armory with a dream, a camera, and a heart full of hope. From there came a basement studio, and eventually the beautiful space many of you came to know. Looking back, it's amazing to see how much changed over the years.
But the truth is, the studio was never what made this business special.
You did.
Every family who walked through my door brought a story with them. Some stories began with tiny newborn fingers wrapped around Mom or Dad's hand. Others celebrated first birthdays, growing families, high school graduations, or simply the joy of being together in this season of life.
One of the greatest gifts of this career has been watching those stories continue. I've met newborns who later returned as toddlers, then children, and eventually seniors preparing for graduation. I've watched families grow as they welcomed new babies, and I've celebrated milestones alongside many of you for years.
Photography gave me so much more than a career. It gave me relationships. It gave me purpose. Most of all, it gave me the privilege of witnessing life's most meaningful moments.
As this chapter comes to a close, I want you to know how deeply grateful I am.
Thank you for inviting me into your lives.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories.
Thank you for referring your friends and family.
Thank you for supporting a dream that became so much bigger than I ever imagined.
Every story you entrusted to me became part of my own story, and I'll carry those memories with me long after the lights in the studio are turned off for the last time.
What Happens Next?
Jeannie Tribe Photography will officially close in December, and the studio space will be passed on to its next chapter. Along with the photography business, Tribe Studios and The Snapshot Room will also come to an end.
I will no longer be accepting new photography clients. However, families I've photographed within the past two years are always welcome to reach out for future newborn sessions, first birthday/cake smash sessions, and senior portraits. It feels fitting to continue celebrating those milestones with the families who have become such an important part of this journey.
Please Download Your Images
If you still have an online gallery, please take a few moments to download your purchased images and save them in more than one location. I recommend keeping copies on your computer as well as a cloud storage service or external hard drive. Once the business has officially closed, I will no longer be able to access archived galleries or retrieve images.
As I look back, I won't remember these years by the number of sessions I photographed or the thousands of images I edited.
I'll remember the little girls spinning in dresses that made them feel beautiful.
The sleepy newborns who came back years later with a new baby brother or sister.
The seniors who nervously stepped in front of my camera and confidently walked away ready for their next adventure.
The parents who became friends.
The hugs.
The laughter.
The tears.
The stories.
Because in the end, that's what this was always about.
Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your story.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
With all my gratitude,
Jeannie Tribe
