Josie's Ice Castles Session

When Josie first reached out and we began planning her senior session, she said

“I don’t want photos that look like everyone else’s.”

Originally from Georgia, Josie had her heart set on a true Minnesota winter experience — snow, ice, and all the magic that comes with it.

The winter date we planned brought a windchill of –35°.

By the time temperatures warmed up, the snow had turned less-than-photogenic. So we moved forward with the Ice Castles portion of her session — and it was absolutely magical. It was definitely cold so we grabbed some warm snacks and had a bit of fun!

We’ll finish the snowy portion of her session when fresh flakes return… and since this is Minnesota, we know it will!
